 OUR RESEARCH

shark-icon-fw

The majority of our research is field-based, meaning our team spends most of our time on boats, fishing from the shore, underwater, and generally out-and-about. Weather permitting, we spend up to 17 days per month – and sometimes more (!) – in the field where we continue to gather data to support on ongoing research projects. Our Shark Academy interns and volunteers assist in all our shark science.
