August 18: join visiting scientist, Katie Gledhill, for an informative lecture on shark research and conservation work in the Bahamas. The lecture will be held at the Whale House in Hermanus at 19h00.

September 2010

September 13-17 : International Coastal Cleanup Week begins

September 15: Pollution and the impacts on the marine environment - lecture held at the Whale House in Hermanus at 19h00.

September 25-26: Join us at the SASC facility for the Hermanus Whale Festival. Daily events include shark dissections, shark feeding, guest speakers and screening of marine conservation videos. Contact Us for a schedule of events.

September 27-29: Marine Biology Internship Programme for Teens. Contact Us to book a spot.

September 30 - October 1: Shark Camp for Kids. Contact Us to book a spot.

September 30 - October 3: Join SASC at the Overstrand Conservation Foundation Flower and Eco-Fair at Fernkloof Nature Reserve in Hermanus. Our displays will examine interactions between humans and the marine environment.
