Hi, my name is Tamzyn Zweig.  I am currently completing the practical year of a Fisheries Resource Management diploma at CPUT (Cape Peninsula University of Technology).  The Fisheries Resource Management course focuses on the use of marine resources in a sustainable manner and includes subjects such as economics, marine biology, ecology and environmental and fisheries law. I met Meag in 2009 when she came to CPUT to present a talk on elasmobranch biology and the predicament shark stocks face due to unsustainable fishing practices.  Her enthusiasm and drive is definitely contagious.  Needless to say, I bugged her until she took me on as her intern for 2010. Here I am – loving every minute of it! I also serve as the Outreach Programmes Coordinator for SASC.
